Name the goal and choose a target
Start with a category such as a home, car, travel, electronics, education, wedding, health, emergency fund, baby or furniture. Set the amount and date, then record existing savings. Keep a new laptop goal separate from your holiday savings.
Review progress and the remaining amount
Update a goal when you actually set money aside, and adjust it when you use part of those savings. See the recorded progress, remaining amount and the monthly amount associated with your target date. A goal balance does not mean Ferla holds that money for you.
Revisit a goal when your budget changes
Adjust the amount or date when your circumstances change. A change in income or essential costs may affect what you can set aside. Use goals alongside your budget and cash-flow records; calculations do not guarantee an outcome or a return.
